Though not reported by the mainstream media, Malaysiakini has reported that ex-imam, Ramlan Porigi was fired by Jakim over the sodomy issue of Anwar and Saiful.
As anticipated, his appearance in a ceramah during the Permatang Pauh was the final straw for Jakim. The decision to sack him was made on the 20th.
I have already anticipated that it will happen and I was betting that a safety net / cum rescue plan was on the way to help Ramlan in case such event will happen.
I already figured that it is politically motivated as the Saiful sodomy issue was just to character assassinate Anwar Ibrahim.
