What I understand is that this time the interrogation of Beng Hock is not the same pattern as the Abu Ghraib style of detention allegedly happen to Kugan and the other man in Damansara Utama.
Quote from The Star:
MACC director of investigation Datuk Mohd Shukri Abdull said Teoh -- a former journalist with Sin Chew Daily -- was released at about 3:45am on Thursday after his officers had finished recording his statement.
He said Teoh did not go back but was seen loitering in the building and had asked to rest for a while at the pantry.
“No one saw him after that until we were alerted that a body had been found on the fifth floor at about 1:30pm,” he said, adding that Teoh was a witness in the MACC investigation.
Didn’t lawyer Mano, who accompanied Teo to the MACC HQ, and who last saw him at 7pm yesterday, say that Teo “was happy and looked composed”
Since there was no mention of a suicide note somewhere in the building, it means to do with being thrown off. I have a fuzzy feeling that it could fall into that. A silent assasination, making us to think of it as a foul play whereas there was a hidden hand involved. If you are a video game fan and played Hitman: Blood Money, you would find similarities surrounding killing a target and what is written in the papers the next day.It has been a desire of Abdullah Badawi and Ahmad Said Hamdan the director to have MACC to be as great as the ICAC since it was said of MACC aims to emulate the model of the Hong Kong counterpart. But given of a death and apparent suicide in the jurisdication of MACC, I find it hard to say that MACC has a failed startup given of the ability not to pursue further action despite strong evidence of corruption against MAS's Tajudin Ramli for example.
If MACC cannot go and prosecute the corrupt cronies and people despite a strong proof that shows of their misconduct, how would they be called as to combat corruption as people want?
Kenyataan tersebut dikeluarkan satelah menyaksikan betapa ghairah SPRM bertindak terhadap ADUN Pakatan Rakyat Selangor. Walhal rasuah yang melibatkan dana berbilion ringgit saperti skandal Zon Bebas Pelabuhan Klang (PKFZ), pembelian senjata, dan lain-lain cuba dilenyapkan!
Dan hari ini, akibat tindakan kasar terhadap petugas Pakatan Rakyat, menyaksikan tragedi kematian pembantu YB Ean Yong Hian Wah iaitu mendiang Teo Beng Hock.
Beng Hock is supposedly to get married tomorrow and it happens and there's really something wrong about the whole thing. The Taxi Man from Padang Rengas has shot off his big mouth was a remark that few would really agreed or concur with him. I had a feeling that there is a possibility of exposing an MCA assemblyman in connection with the underworld and Beng Hock could might have been silenced to prevent a leak...could it be?
