The Elizabeth Wong Nude Scandal: What About Hilmi?

Yesterday at lunch break and after work hours, I've stumbled upon a few entries that suggested that Elizabeth Wong's ex-boyfriend Hilmi could be responsible for those nude pictures.

While Malaysiakini reports that Pakatan Rakyat leaders blame the gerombolan for making more trouble after the Perak affair and then trying to start a ruckus in Kedah and Selangor, the bet is that the breaking off of the relationship between both of them could cause this. Perhaps the guessing is that disgruntled over maybe the what she did, he'd use those pictures as blackmail against her.

Do I see Elizabeth as someone who's willing to do those kind of acts? I have bumped to her in three occassions, the last being the PROTES event in KLCC January last year and brief appearances can give a hint that she doesn't do that given she has been career-minded first as the human activist before going into politics.

Last night while having dinner a friend told me that he was convinced that Hilmi is likely responsible for starting the thing and that was exploited by the Gerombolan-controlled media, since they'd crave on releasing something sensational - well, everyone wants something sensational...of course. He showed me the number of that guy. I only nodded. Was the motive clearly to be used as leverage or something that can be taken advantage upon?

Let's see how this plays out. Right now, poor Eli is taking time off, maybe back to Ipoh or something. And we shall see whether she stays or not. If the people clearly say that they want her back given of how well she performed for Bukit Lanjan, that means people forgive her, which is a complete reverse of how Hee Yit Foong was smacked when she declared herself BN friendly.

  1. So, If this "Helmi" screw her, please go file report with Shariah court that fornication took place.

Is Helmi a Gigolo? How many boyfriends the Yang Berbogel (YB) Elizabeth Wong has to to be certain that "Helmi" did it.

This is unlike Nasha Aziz where her dignity was violated by hidden camera. This is smut hidden behind presumtion of innocence.

  2. If this Hilmi is the Hilmi that I know, rest assured, Eli's allies in PAS won't be able to take the heat from the UMNOists if this is disclosed or proven true. I do not blame her and she should not feel bad or guilty about it. Keep up your spirit, Eli. In the meantime, I foresee the Battle for the Three Hills.

  3. SIR,

HOW COULD YOU ENDORSE PEOPLE ENTERING YOUR HOUSE AND NOT YOUR MARITAL PARTNER. SOME MORE TO GUESS A MUSLIM, HILMI MUSLIM BY NAME BUT MIGHT BE A MUNAFIQ BY DEED TO BE RESPONSIBLE, PKR REP MORALITIES ARE QUESTIONABLE. CHUA SOI LEK SALAH TAPI ELIZABETH TAK SALAH PASAL BUAT RUMAH SENDIRI.

WE HAVE TO MOVE ON, HOW COULD WE OFFER A BETTER GOVERNMENT IF WE ENDORSE PEOPLE WHO HAS DOUBTFUL MORAL. I SUPPORT PR BUT NOW AFTER ONE AND ANOTHER, IT SEEMS THEIR LUST HAVE OVERTAKEN THEIR FIGHT FOR JUSTICE.

    TQ SIR

  4. What do you mean " people forgive her"? She has done nothing wrong. Is sleeping in your own home ( even if naked, which it is not) a crime?. If that same photo is of a male politician, it would have been a non issue. This is sexist. Such thing will never occur in a western country

Huh??? Forgive her??? What dis Eli do that requires
our forgiving her, Melvin? Did I miss something? It's laughable that we have let our own religiously dictated sexual taboos become a crude political weapon. I read somewhere that the Republican investigation of Bill Clinton's affair with Monica Lewinsky cost several hundred times more than the investigation into the 9/11 attacks.

The programming runs deep and breeds nothing but hypocrisy and turns vice into a growth industry.

  6. Double standard? dont forget this is politic..lets see who laugh the most and gain the most (or so they think)..

Ever wonder how perfect the timing is? Perak down..Kedah (bukit selambau) and Selangor (Wong's pics)to go...any trick/s for Kelantan?

  7. Did anyone consider Hilmi as one planted by the BN/UMNO or even the authorities for 2 reasons namely,

    1. To penetrate her circle and spy on her activities in NGO and pressure and human social action groups.

    2. In the event that they cannot get any evidence to corner her as in 1 above , then use the illegal snooping of Eli in poses considered not moral and post it on the internet. This will effectively destroy her political career.

Hilmi will reap pecuniary benefits no doubt.

Consider why the break-up of the relationship is so timely when Khir Toyo is talking of forming the state government! Talking about a revenge on Eli is not plausible and is just an excuse to cover up this covert activity.

Therefore all politicians have to be on extra-guard as the opponents are all out to get them whether fairly or unfairly.

  8. There was a joke of her name being changed to something else as long she was with Hilmi.

People can forgive her in the scenario where PKR out of the blue decides to put her in to recontest the Bukit Lanjan seat and she wins with the same majority as in the 2008 GE.

There are two more comments that I excluded for certain reasons:

Serpico - you are not telling your point in related to the subject matter. It seems that you are thinking as a child given of the comment moderation annoyance. That's a standard check procedure that most of us do.

Ray - i'd go a little more subtle if I were you. Other people reading your remarks could think you're shouting for nothing. But Eli's had a hard time now and just give her some face for now.
