KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has been urged to investigate the individual involved in sponsoring private investigator P. Balasubramaniam in London.
Independent MP for Bayan Baru Datuk Zahrain Mohamed Hashim, in making the call, said he was convinced that an individual was sponsoring Balasubramaniam's stay in the United Kingdom because he knew that the private investigator could not afford to stay there without financial assistance.
"I urge the MACC to investigate who is the sponsor. Furthermore, I know it's not possible that Bala can afford to stay in London for months without a sponsor," he told reporters at the Parliament lobby here Wednesday. The Star - 30 June 2010
Well, people are chastising him. Maybe he gets the monetary freedom in exchange of staying out of PKR, as some people alleged. Some said that he left because he's not happy of getting the golf rights in Bukit Jambul, while some said that he had money problems to pay for his children's education in the UK. Note that the exchange rate there costs more, since it's close to 5 per pound at that time.
What Zaid written there was from the description, that was sometime around early October, during the time of the Bagan Pinang by-election. True, this is all I've heard about. And it's a pretty good sarcastic thing at Zahrain where it's just staying there by coincidence, while the remark implies of not liking someone to stay at the same place and the same roof.
I've read some comments on other people who would whack Zahrain over this. A few of them really and they don't really gave a damn of his moaning. As what many said, the guy's pretty pathethic.
