Bad Boy Samy

Interestingly, in the midst of the leak incidents in Kuala Lumpur including the Parliament building, fellow blogger Bernard (Zorro) posted an interesting spoof of Works Minister Samy Vellu.

An interesting note that caught attention of some people is that Samy plagiarized a poem which he claimed to be original and penned to PM Abdullah Badawi in conjunction with his second marriage with Jeanne Abdullah.

However, the kind of plagiarism committed by a minister is not as severe as a newspaper professional. It was noted that former NST editor Brendan John Pereira - one of the members of the NST who sued Jeff and Ahiruddin - who was alleged to do the same thing but it is more severe as he is a media professional - not an amateur.
